OVERNIGHT CARE
Overnight care starting at $45/hour
- Support and education of the mother’s physical recovery after birth
- Providing a nonjudgmental listening ear and emotional support (listening to and helping both parents process their birth story, hear concerns about their new roles as parents, etc.)
- Assist the family in finding a healthy balance in life with the addition of a new baby Guiding parents to establish good sleep habits with their baby
- Educating parents and caregivers about safe sleep guidelines recommended by the AAP
- Educating parents on proper breast milk storage and optimizing milk supply
- Educating parents on proper bottle-feeding techniques
- Educating parents about daytime wake windows in order to optimize naps and nighttime sleep
- Hands on support bottle feeding (breast or formula), soothing and diapering the baby while the parents get *well deserved* rest
- Assisting with breastfeeding throughout the night and soothing baby back to sleep after feeds
- Establishing a routine and creating future schedules as the baby grows
- Educating parents about developmental leaps and changes in baby’s mental and physical growth each week
- Recording baby’s feeding, sleeping and diapers each night
- Reviewing the baby’s night each morning
